SOLUTION TO FIX THESE ISSUES caused by SINGNET:
1. Unable to register/sign up due to invalid security code.
2. Unable to login due to multiple login users detected on your network.
3. Logging in as someone else and not your own account.
4. Unable to login or visit certain websites.

1. Set up your browser to use a proxy (or not use it, depending on SingNet's mood of the day) [

Then you are suffering some of the problems with SingNet's recent changes. (or random changes every few weeks)

So how can we solve it (once and for all)?
1. Post a reply here, if you have a problem, so we can keep track of the number of affected users. (So if SingNet sees us, they will know there's a lot of people with SingNet problems)
2. Drop a call to them, complain about the internet connection. Then record your conversation and post them here!

3. Post the websites you cannot visit, programs you cannot use here.
Step 1 is necessary to help more than just yourself, with enough callers, it will probably make them notice something is wrong. Instead of you having to figure out what to do yourself, half of SingNet users will never know that websites are not down.. but it is SingNet that is having difficulties! So help the rest, by making a simple phone call. If you do not know what to say, say this:
"Hello I'm having issues surfing the net and using programs that detects & uses IPs, people say that it's due to the proxy changes implemented recently. Can you please explain why the proxy behavior changes every few weeks? There's a whole website of users complaining about this and coming up with fixes everyday. Looks like I'm not the only one!"
Step 3, let other users know what is down and what is not.
What does /z.singnet do to Zion?
Type /z.singnet in Zion and you can get what works today for SingNet! (To use or not use proxy) ... It will then even hack Zion to work, does not fix the problems for BitTorrent & eMule though
After you get your results, you will need to configure your browser (Internet Explore/Firefox/Opera) that you use to visit this forum, to use or not use the proxy as well, based on the results you get from /z.singnet . The /z.singnet command can only configure Zion, but not your browser. After you configure your browser, you should be able to use Zion properly, and even visit those websites that you thought "was spoilt, down or not responding"!
Now after setting up Zion & your browser, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER, and use Zion as usual (for today.. Who knows what will happen to SingNet tomorrow?)

Verdict: Crazy. Need to use proxy for some websites & applications. Need to disable proxy for other websites & applications. If using proxy do not work for websites (i.e. Yahoo) , try not using proxy. If not, you will face these problems.
FTP upload gets interrupted or stuck.
